Chris Aslin, originally from Kingston, Ontario, has been working on and sailing boats (about 10,000 ocean miles single handed) since he was a child. He built his own 41 ft sailboat when he was 18 years old. He has raced sailboats for many years, from Lasers as a youth, to large keelboats and even iceboats. His marine experience includes professional sail making, traditional wooden boat building, modern cold moulded wood techniques, building in welded aluminum, and fiberglass construction.
Chris is also an accomplished musician and the proud father of two beautiful daughters he enjoys sailing with.
